Our client is the operator of an Aquarium that is going to be opening soon in St. Louis.
We are searching for an Executive Director to manage the operation of the Aquarium. This individual will direct and oversee the organization’s financial and budgetary activities, including financial accountability and approvals. In addition, they will monitor the maintenance of building, facilities, equipment, supplies and utilities in order to reduce damage, waste and to control costs. Managing the labor budget to achieve the most efficient use of labor is a priority, as well as overall cost reduction. He/she will work closely with the Aquarium Foundation to ensure volunteers and educators provide exemplary guest service and engagement. The creation of attendance increasing marketing programs will also be a pressing matter.
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- Experience managing large operational teams
- Eight (8) plus years of experience working in attractions/entertainment/exhibits
COMPENSATION: $120,000 to $160,000 annually
