Our client is a large hospitality company in Michigan seeking an Executive Chef for a 7,000 square foot restaurant opening at the beginning of 2020.
We are searching for an Executive Chef who will lead a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. He/she will hire, train, manage and coach the staff, as well as directing all aspects of food production including menu development, purchasing, storage, preparation, portion control, inventory and record keeping. This person will also be involved in creating a budget for the restaurant and will strive to provide an optimal experience for all guests.
- Minimum of 10 years of restaurant experience, with at least three years of fine dining experience
- Experience with a combination of independent and chain restaurants
- A culinary degree is preferred
