DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS – CASUAL DINING – NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
Our client is a regional quick service and casual dining restaurant owner and operator, with multi-unit annual sales of over $70mm. The company operates over 20 casual dining units, each of which carry a popular and dominant brand via franchise agreement.
The Director of Operations will be charged with the responsibility of overseeing 10+ units and insuring effective management and profitable growth of the organization. He or she will provide leadership and guidance to 2 District Managers so as to maximize individual unit performance. The ability to create standardized operations procedures, and a systemic management environment, will enable the company to reach its growth objectives. Strong budgeting, business planning, and P& L management skills are required.
The successful candidate will have prior multi-unit management experience in the restaurant industry. This position will be considered the key component to the management of the company, and will serve as an active participant in all matters of corporate strategy and planning.
COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $100,000 PLUS BONUS – Relocation Assistance Available
CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Our client owns and operates 20+ award winning full service restaurants across the nation. Each restaurant can be found in beautifully appointed locations that offer breathtaking panoramic views of city skylines, waterfronts, or airports.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Corporate Director of Human Resources will be responsible for effectively planning, developing, and implementing a fully integrated human resources strategy for the company. They will administer a wide variety of human resource programs in support of the company’s objectives and will be responsible for ensuring that the companies comply with all local, state, and federal employment laws, policies and regulations. He or she will also handle employee grievances, coordinate compensation and benefit programs, direct the recruiting effort, establish appropriate training programs, and provide general guidance to the organization on matters of leadership development. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
• BS/BA degree in HR of in a related field.
• 8+ years of HR experience in the areas of strategy, leadership development, comp. and staffing.
• Strong experience in recruiting, employment law, comp and benefits, training and development, and employee relations.
• Experience must be in a hospitality related industry.
• Creative trusted individual with high ethical standards.
• Articulate individual that relates to all levels of an organization.
• An excellent facilitator that is experienced in conflict resolution.

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER – SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Our client is a privately held, full service restaurant corporation that operates over 50 full service, highly themed restaurants. We have been retained to manage their search for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee 5 full service themed restaurants with volume ranging to $10 million.
The company specializes in full service restaurant operations with an emphasis on large banquet and catering facilities. Each location has been individually selected, designed, constructed and conceptually developed in order to customize the décor and menu with the geographical surrounding populous. The typical restaurant would generate approximately $2-3 million in annual revenue.
In each case, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years management experience in the full service restaurant industry. The company would prefer an individual who has owned and operated a restaurant and is accustomed to a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment. Multi-unit operations experience would be a plus. This key position will ultimately be responsible for managing regional operations for the company’s field units, including strategies, plans, and budgets.

DISTRICT MANAGER – QSR - NORTH CAROLINA
Our client is looking for a successful candidate to manage multi-unit QSR/fast food facilities in North Carolina. Through direct supervision of property and relief managers, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities while building and promoting a customer-centric sales culture. The successful candidate will ensure that all properties achieve their maximum potential in all areas while promoting and ensuring adherence to the high quality standards and integrity essential to the client name.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervise restaurant general managers and assistant managers. Recruit and retain high quality management candidates.
-Train, develop, and motivate team to improve performance levels and deliver excellent customer service.
-Responsible for meeting budget and financial goals within areas of control.
-Maintenance and cleanliness of all facilities -- inside, outside.
-Ensure all food safety standards are executed according to company policy and health/sanitation regulations.
-Strong leadership skills. This is a hands-on working / leadership role.
-Excellent communication skills along with knowledgeable of Excel and Word
-Must be willing to relocate or live within reasonable driving distance from District.
-Ability to work flexible hours / days to support business hours and needs.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years multi-unit QSR management experience. Anyone without that experience will not be considered.
COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $70,000 PLUS BONUS and BENEFITS.
